Mavericks' Playoff Launch Party Cancelled

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks have cancelled this evening's Playoff Launch Party due to weather. The Playoff Launch Party was originally scheduled for this evening at Independence Square at 4:30 p.m., but due to the winter storm, the outdoor party has been cancelled. The Mavericks will unveil the team's playoff logo and slogan this evening as scheduled on www.MissouriMavericks.com

Missouri Mavericks playoff tickets for the first round of the playoffs go on sale today at noon through any of the ticket purchase points. Should the Mavericks earn a top four seed in the playoffs; the team will host their first two playoff games on Friday and Saturday, April 1 and 2. Tickets will be available at www.Ticketmaster.com, the Independence Events Center Box Office or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000.

The Mavericks next head Bloomington for a game on Wednesday, March 16 against the PrairieThunder. Missouri will return home for a four-game home stand where they will face the Wichita Thunder on March 18 and 19, the Mississippi RiverKings on March 20 and wrap up the home schedule against the Thunder on March 22.
