Tulsa Oilers News Release
Texas Swing: The Tulsa Oilers have three games this week, all in Texas. They visit the Texas Brahmas Wednesday at 7 p.m.; visit the Allen Americans Friday at 7:30 p.m.; and travel to take on the Odessa Jackalopes Saturday at 7:05 p.m. All three games this week can be accessed via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com and CHL TV.
One Of Each: The Oilers went across the board last week, losing 3-2 in overtime to Wichita, losing 2-1 in regulation time at Rapid City and then winning at Colorado
They're In.: The Oilers' results last week assured them of a berth in the Ray Miron Presidents' Cup playoffs. With six games remaining in the regular season, the Oilers final playoff seeding, playoff opponent, and playoff schedule is yet to be determined.
For Mori: John Mori had goals in the first two games last week which stretched his goal scoring streak to four games. It was the longest goal streak in the league at the time. Although his streak ended in the win at Colorado he did have an assist in that game.
What Balance: Not only did the Oilers have five different players score goals at Colorado, but 12 of the 16 skaters in the game had a goal or assist.
Ian-credible: Goaltender Ian Keserich stopped 35 of the 36 shots he faced Saturday night to pick up his 19th win of the season.
