
Mavericks 3-0 for First Time Since 2013

INDEPENDENCE, MO. - With a 3-2 win on Tuesday night versus the Wichita Thunder, the Kansas City Mavericks are 3-0 for the first time since the 2013-14 campaign.
Additionally, Mavericks General Manager and Head Coach Tad O'Had picked up his 100th career head coaching victory.
The Mavericks were led offensively by a pair of returning skaters who played integral roles in last season's success. Defenseman Jake McLaughlin opened the scoring for Kansas City late in the opening frame with his first goal of the season. In the second period, forward Cole Coskey added a pair of goals, his third and fourth time finding the back of the net this season.
Assisting on Coskey's goals were Max Andreev, Cade Borchardt and Nolan Walker. Coskey. Those four players have recorded at least one point in all three games this season.
The Mavericks are back at Cable Dahmer Arena next Tuesday, October 31 at 7:05 PM for the Halloween Night game against Rapid City. More than 20 local community and corporate partners will line the concourse for kids in costume to trick-or-treat before the game.
