SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- Brett Eibner hit his second home run in two games, but it wasn't enough as the Northwest Arkansas Naturals took a 7-1 defeat at the hands of the Tulsa Drillers on Sunday at Arvest Ballpark.

Eibner, the Naturals' leadoff batter, gave his team an early 1-0 lead, sending a Christian Bergman pitch well over the left field fence. Eibner homered in his second straight at-bat, blasting a two-run home run to center field in the eighth inning last night

Tulsa took a lead they wouldn't relinquish in the second inning. With two outs and a runner on first, Jose Gonzalez hit a line drive home run that barely cleared the left field fence, giving the Drillers a 2-1 lead. Kent Matthes drove in the first of three runs in the third inning, a two-out double that scored Kiel Roling for a 3-1 Tulsa lead, with another run crossing the plate in the fifth inning thanks to an Angelys Nina single.

The Drillers capped the scoring with a three-run sixth inning, with one run coming on a Naturals' error and two on a two-out Matthes single. Matthes went three-for-five with two singles and a double. Cristhian Adames went two-for-three with two doubles.

Matt Fields went two-for-four with a single and double to lead the Naturals. In his first game of 2013, Carlo Testa went one-for-three with a single.

Bergman earns his third win of the season, allowing one run on six hits with two walks and three strikeouts in seven innings. Former Natural Cole White allowed a single to Orlando Calixte in the eighth, with Josh Mueller firing a perfect ninth for Tulsa.

Jason Adam is charged with his fifth loss. Adam allowed four runs, three earned, on six hits with three walks and five strikeouts in five innings. Nick Rogers allowed three runs, two earned in two innings, with Sam Runion allowing one hit with three strikeouts in two scoreless innings.

The Naturals and Drillers conclude their four-game series tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. Sugar Ray Marimon (2-5, 5.49 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Naturals. Dan Houston (0-4, 4.71 ERA) is scheduled to start for Tulsa.
