Rome, GA â Rome Braves pitcher Matt Harrison has earned the BC Powder South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Week honors. Harrison pitched a complete game shutout on May 5, 2005 against the Greenville Bombers to lead the Braves to a 1-0 victory. Harrison scattered 5 hits in his 9.0 innings of work and struck out 8 batters. Harrison is 3-1 on the year and currently leads the league in ERA (0.49), innings pitched (37.0) and is tied for the league lead in shutouts (1).
