ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 returns to action on Saturday, August 11 when it faces Charleston Battery at MUSC Health Stadium. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 p.m. EST and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

ATL UTD 2 makes its first trip to MUSC Health stadium in a rematch against the Battery, who won the first meeting 3-0 at Coolray Field on April 24. In the first match, Atlanta held 75.2 percent possession and connected 792 passes, both single-game highs this season. However, Charleston took the three points with a goal from Ian Svantesson and a brace from Atlanta-loanee Gordon Wild.

Each team is coming off a mid-week match as ATL UTD 2 completed its previously-suspended June 16 game with Ottawa Fury FC in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday, August 7 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia. Charleston traveled to Al Lang Stadium and played to a scoreless draw Wednesday, August 8 against the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
