Match Preview: ATL UTD 2 vs Loudoun United

ATL UTD 2 returns to action Friday when it travels to face Loudoun United at Audi Field. The match marks the first meeting between both sides as the 2019 USL Championship season marks Loudoun's inaugural campaign.

Atlanta is looking to rebound after a 1-0 defeat to Indy Eleven last week on Saturday, June 22 at Lucas Oil Stadium. ATL UTD 2 produced several close scoring opportunities, but failed to stick any of its chances in the back of the net. Despite keeping Indy's offense at bay for the majority of the match, substitute Alioune Diakhate scored his first goal for the Eleven in the 84th minute which ultimately was the game-winner.

Loudoun enters Friday's match having suffered back-to-back defeats to Louisville City and Indy Eleven. Loudoun has yet to win at home this season and holds a 0-2-1 record at Audi Field.
