Match at Nissan Tabbed as GOAL Program Night for Nashville SC

September 13, 2019 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Nashville SC News Release

NASHVILLE - There is one more dress rehearsal left before the big dance.

On Saturday, October 12 at 7 p.m., Nashville Soccer Club will take the pitch at Nissan Stadium one final time before it becomes its Major League Soccer home in 2020. After securing a win at Nissan for the first time in July, Nashville SC will look for another statement victory against North Carolina FC in the penultimate match of the 2019 USL Championship regular season.

In addition to the magnitude of the match, Nashville SC will be honoring Cooper Steel's GOAL Program that benefits Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. For each goal Nashville SC scores this season, Cooper Steel will donate $100 to the children's hospital. Last season, Cooper Steel donated $5000 dollars in partnership with Nashville SC.

So far this season, Nashville SC has scored 49 goals, meaning $4,900 donated, in USL Championship play. With Nashville's high-octane offense, the Boys in Gold look sure to surpass the $5,000 donated last season. At the match on October 12, Cooper Steel will present the amount donated to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

For those wanting to personally donate alongside Cooper Steel and Nashville SC, visit Give.vanderbilthealth.org/cooper.

Tickets to see Nashville SC play at Nissan Stadium on GOAL Program Night are available here starting at $12.
