Secaucus, NJ (Tuesday, May 11, 2002) - Second-year Metro and Nike Pro forward Martin Klinger has been taken off the Injured Reserve List after missing the first 10 league games and three exhibitions this season with lumbar spondylolysis (lower back pain). Klinger, 21, has resumed training full-time with the team at Kean University-East Campus in Union, NJ. The Kearny, New Jersey native played in nine league games (no points) during his rookie 2001 season with the MetroStars.
