Morehead City, N.C. - The Morehead City Marlins promotional schedule picks back up throughout the next couple of weeks, starting with a jam-packed evening at Big Rock Stadium this Wednesday, June 15.

The special events on the agenda for Wednesday's matchup include Little League Night, Town of Newport Night, and the Marlins Poster Giveaway. For Little League Night, any child 12 years of age or under that comes to the ballpark wearing his or her Little League uniform receives free admission to the game. Residents of Newport may show their driver's licenses at the gate, earning a dollar discount. The Marlins will unveil original artwork by renowned local artist Diana Malinowski, who represents the Carolina Artist Studio Gallery. Around 400 posters replicating the piece will be distributed to Marlins fans, as well, and a copy will be given to the city so that it may hang in town hall.

After Wednesday, the Marlins play at home on both Friday (June 17) and Saturday (June 18), hosting Progress Energy Night on the second Facebook Friday of the season, as well as WRNS Night and Boys and Girls Clubs of Coastal Carolina Night on Saturday.

The following Saturday, June 25, sees the Marlins returning home from a week-long road trip to host GirlTalk Gynecology Ladies Night, which features a beach bag giveaway. The next day, June 26, Time Warner Cable Super Duper Sunday returns to Big Rock Stadium. Any fan that brings his or her Time Warner Cable bill will have one dollar shaved from the price of a ticket. Additionally, one of the evening's highlights will be the Morehead City Police vs. Firemen Softball Game at 5:30.
