Toronto Marlies News Release

The Toronto Marlies travel to Vaughn to continue their series of community practices in an effort to connect with minor hockey teams throughout the GTA starting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4 at the Al Palladini Community Centre on the East rink. A number of minor hockey level players from the City of Vaughn Hockey Association will watch as coaches Greg Gilbert, Doug Gilmour and Joe Paterson lead the Marlies through a legitimate pro hockey practice. With 15 minutes remaining in the session, one team will take to the ice and join the entire Marlies team in interactive and challenging drills aimed at helping young players improve their skills. Toronto Marlies Mascot, Duke the Dog will also be in attendance at the event.

The Marlies will leave the ice surface at 8:00 p.m., to participate in a team autograph signing session. This will be the second of five planned Marlies practices that will be held around the Toronto area this season.

The Marlies host their QEW-rival, the Hamilton Bulldogs - AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens - this afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum at 4:00 p.m. The game today will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough.
