
Marlies Host Moose for Early Start

The Toronto Marlies (29-18-6-3) are back home today to host the Manitoba Moose (25-25-3-2) for an early start at Coca-Cola Coliseum. These two teams met exactly a week ago for the Marlies' first School Day Game of the season and their third meeting of the regular season. The Marlies came out on top last week by a final score of 4-3 to take a 3-0 lead in their season series against the Moose.
Coming into today's game the Marlies are riding a five-game point streak with four wins and an overtime loss in their past five games. They are 5-2-3-0 in their past 10 and are currently sitting in third in the North Division and fifth in the Eastern Conference. The Moose, who are coming off a 3-1 loss to Laval and have dropped their last three games, will be looking to get back in the win column today. They are currently out of playoff contention, sitting in eighth place in the Central Division and 12th in the Western Conference.
Players to watch: Jeremy Bracco has been hot lately with six points in his last five games. He currently sits third in league scoring with 55 points (15 goals, 40 assists) and second in the league in assists (40) behind Chicago's Daniel Carr (41). Defenceman Calle Rosen has registered seven points in his last six games and sits third in the league in assists (37) behind Bracco and third in team scoring with 44 points.
