Dauphin Signs Deal for 19-20 Season

Milwaukee, WI - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Wednesday that the team has signed forward Laurent Dauphin to a one-year, two-way contract.

Dauphin has a goal and three assists in seven games with the Admirals since being acquired from the Arizona Coyotes on Feb. 8. He's tallied 24 points (7g-17a) in 41 combined games this season with Milwaukee and the Tucson Roadrunners, where he served as an alternate captain. The 6-foot-1, 181-pound forward also appeared in one game with Arizona in 2018-19 on Jan. 10 at Vancouver. A native of Repentigny, Que., Dauphin has skated in 199 career AHL games with Milwaukee, Tucson, Rockford, Springfield and Portland and has posted 45 goals and 106 points since debuting in 2014-15.

Originally drafted in the second round (39th overall) by the Coyotes in the 2013 NHL Draft, Dauphin played in a career-high 24 NHL games in 2016-17, scoring twice and adding an assist. He made his NHL debut on Dec. 29, 2015, and has suited up in 35 career NHL contests - all with the Coyotes - registering four points (3g-1a).

Dauphin and the Admirals will continue their seven-game roadtrip Wednesday night in Austin against the Texas Stars.
