
Marlies Drop Bulldogs in Preseason Finale

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, by a score of 2-0 tonight from the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre in Brantford, Ontario.
After a scoreless first period, which saw the Bulldogs outshoot the Marlies 17-6, Toronto responded with a breakaway goal from Ryan Hamilton midway through the second period. Sam Carrick sealed the win for the Marlies with a third period tally on a cross-ice pass from Greg McKegg.
Toronto concludes the preseason with two wins over division rival Hamilton, outscoring the Bulldogs 5-1 over that span.
The Marlies will open the 2012-13 regular season against the Rochester Americans, AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres at 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 13 at Ricoh Coliseum. Tickets can be purchased by calling the team's ticket line at 416-597-PUCK (7825) or by visiting marlies.ca
