Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies and Hamilton Bulldogs met at the Bell Center Sunday afternoon, home of Hamilton's NHL affiliate, the Montreal Canadiens. The Marlies would take the lead on a first period goal by Ryan Rupert, the beneficiary of a patient Connor Brown set up. Sam Carrick would add an empty net goal late in the third to seal the victory. Christopher Gibson was stellar, turning aside all 29 shots he faced and earning himself the game's first star.
The Marlies next home game is March 20th when they host the Lake Erie Monsters for their first ever Star Wars night. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at marlies.ca or by calling 416-597-PUCK (7825).
