Marlies Announce Roster Moves

Jeff Jackson, general manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that the club has reassigned forwards Robert Slaney and Greg Scott to their ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals. Additionally, the Marlies signed Adam Munro to a professional try-out contract.

Slaney, 21, skated in 11 games with the Marlies this season, totaling three assists and seven penalty minutes. The Upper Island Cove, NF native made his American Hockey League debut on October 16 at Rochester.

Scott, 21, played in 14 games and collected one assist and 15 penalty minutes. The 6'0, 188-pound forward made his AHL debut in the Marlies home opener on October 4 versus Hamilton.

Munro, 27, appeared in five games with the Marlies this season, compiling a record of 1-2-1 with a 2.71 goals-against average and 0.919 save percentage.

The Marlies continue their six game homestand on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. in their first School Day game of the season against the Lake Erie Monsters, AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, at Ricoh Coliseum.
