Ducks Assign Sexton To Moose

The Anaheim Ducks today announced they have assigned forward Dan Sexton to the Manitoba Moose.

Sexton, 22, has played in 18 games so far this season with the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL. In that span, he has recorded 26 points (13g & 13a) along with 14 penalty minutes. He sits fourth on the ECHL scoring leaderboard and has the second-most goals in the league. Sexton also earned ECHL Player of the Week Honors for accumulating nine points (4g & 5a) in four games this past week. He collected three assists in the first game of a three-game set versus Alaska, then scored his first career pro hat trick in the second game, and then scored the game-winning goal against the Aces the next night.

The Apply Valley, MN. Native played the last two seasons with the Bowling Green State University of the NCAA. In 76 games with the club he earned 60 points (24g & 36a) while racking up 62 penalty minutes.
