Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves will host the 12th annual "Get Fed by the Wolves" lunch at Cheeseburger in Paradise, 1472 Market St., in Des Plaines on Sun., Nov. 29, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Wolves players will trade in their jerseys and pads for T-shirts and aprons to serve their fans in the afternoon event. Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit Tim Breslin Scholarship opportunities, as well as Chicago Wolves charities.

"'Get Fed by the Wolves' is such a fun event and we love hosting it," said Wolves Vice President of Operations Courtney Mahoney. "Tim Breslin's memory is very near to our hearts and it is important for us to be able to contribute to his scholarship, as well as other charities. This event also provides a platform for our fans to get to know some of the new players and for them to interact with the returning ones."

Breslin was one of the first three players signed by the franchise and played five years with the Wolves (1994-1999), which includes capturing the Turner Cup as a member of the 1998 Championship squad. He passed away on Feb. 9, 2005, due to complications from appendiceal cancer.

A raffle also will be held throughout the lunch and various team memorabilia - including signed sticks, helmets, gloves and jerseys - will be auctioned off. In addition, each player will wear a "Get Fed by the Wolves" T-shirt, to be autographed and auctioned at the end of the event.
