
Marlies Announce Home Playoff Dates For Games 1 & 2

A proud member of the American Hockey League, the Toronto Marlies announced they will open the 2008 Calder Cup Playoffs at Ricoh Coliseum on Wednesday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m. Their first round opponent is yet to be determined. The Marlies will host Game 2 of their first round series on Friday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Ricoh Coliseum.

The Marlies clinched the North Division on Wednesday, April 2 with a 2-0 victory over the Grand Rapids Griffins. Toronto is
currently ranked third in the AHL with 105 points overall and own a 48-20-3-6 record. The Toronto Marlies have set franchise records
for most points and wins in a single season during the 2007-08 campaign.
The Marlies travel to Hamilton to battle the Bulldogs - AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens - on Friday night, with puck
drop scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum. The Marlies and Rogers present Duke bobblehead night on Saturday, April 12
when they host the Rochester Americans - AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers - at 4:00 p.m. The Marlies play
their final regular season game on Sunday, April 13 versus the Manitoba Moose - AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks - at 4:00 p.m. on fan appreciation day.
