Wolves Close Out Fan-Tastic Regular Season

April 10, 2008 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves will host their annual Fan Appreciation Weekend when they welcome the Rockford IceHogs to the Allstate Arena on Sat., April 12, at 7 p.m., and face off against the Peoria Rivermen on Sun., April 13, at 3 p.m.

Every fan who enters the arena for the weekend games will receive a scratch-and-win card, which guarantees a prize. The back of the cards can also be used to enter a drawing for the grand prize: a trip to Cancun/Riviera Maya, Mexico, with accommodations at the all-inclusive Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort, courtesy of FunJet Vacations. The first 5,000 fans on Saturday will also receive a stuffed zamboni, courtesy of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Chevy Dealers.

Following Sunday's game, the Wolves players will give the "shirts off their backs" to 19 lucky fans who purchased scratch-and-win cards throughout the season, with proceeds benefiting various Chicago-area charities. The winners will join the players on the ice to claim their game-worn, autographed jerseys.

The Wolves will continue to show their appreciation to fans during the Calder Cup Playoffs by offering a complimentary pre-game dinner of pastas, salads, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, desserts and soda in the Skyline Room of the Allstate Arena, 90 minutes prior to game time, for every person who purchases a non-discounted ticket valued at $20 or more.

The West Division Semifinal will open with Games 1 and 2 at the Allstate Arena on Wed., April 16 at 7 p.m., and Fri., April 18 at 7 :30 p.m.
