Rivermen to Welcome 1,000,000th Fan
The Peoria Rivermen are only 10,528 fans away from welcoming their 1,000,000th East Coast Hockey League fan to enter Carver Arena. It would appear that with over 9,000 sold for this weekend's two-game series with the Johnstown Chiefs that the feat will occur on either Friday, March 22 or Saturday, March 23.
A special prize package awaits Peoria's 1,000,000th fan. The package includes a specially designed Peoria Rivermen plaque, a pair of 2002-2003 Peoria Rivermen Season Tickets, an autographed Rivermen Jersey, Famous Dave's Best Seats in the house and Family Feast for the game, an overnight stay at the Par-A-Dice hotel with buffet, a 20-inch color TV from UFS, and gift certificates from both the Peoria Civic Center and Volume Services of America.
