Saint John, NB - The Saint John Flames announced today that they have signed 22-year-old forward Matt Doman to a 25-game Amateur Tryout Agreement.

The 6'0", 210 lb native of Sartell, Minnesota just completed his fourth season at the University of Wisconsin. In 38 games with the Badgers this season he recorded 11 goals and 12 assists for 23 points and 68 penalty minutes. Doman was Calgary's fifth round selection, 135th overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.

Doman is expected to be available for the Flames game on Friday, March 22, when Saint John hosts the Manchester Monarchs at 7:30 p.m.

The Flames also announced today that Garry Gulash has been released from his professional tryout agreement.
