Reading Royals News Release

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Marc Cavosie ["kah VOE see"] has been returned to the Royals from the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL. In a separate transaction, the Royals also signed goaltender, Beau Erickson. In other transactions announced today: (i) forward Daniel Steiner has been returned to Reading from the Adirondack Phantoms of the AHL; and (ii) Emergency Back-Up Goaltender Shane Davis has been released.

Cavosie (6'0/202) (28), an eighth year pro from Albany, New York, signed with the Royals on September 1, 2009, but has been on loan to the Monsters since the beginning of the season. In sixteen games with Lake Erie, Cavosie registered two assists and six penalty minutes. Erickson (6'1/180) (23) was signed by the Royals in August and began the season with the team, appearing in three games during which he compiled a record of 2-1-0-0 with a 2.94 goals against average and a.907 save percentage. Erickson was released by the Royals on November 10 after the Royals had received three goaltenders contracted to the team's affiliates-the Maple Leafs or Bruins. Goaltender Kevin Regan was subsequently recalled to the Providence Bruins; and goaltender Andrew Engelage was recalled to the Marlies on Saturday. Steiner was loaned to the Phantoms yesterday, and he played for Adirondack in last night's 5-4 shootout win over the Hershey Bears. Steiner did not register any points or penalty minutes in last night's game.

This afternoon (Sunday, November 29 @ 5:05 pm), the Royals and Johnstown Chiefs go at it for the third time in the last five days-this time at the Sovereign Center in Reading. Sunday's radio broadcast on the Royals Radio Network presented by Transmissions by Arbogast kicks off at 4:35 pm.
