Winnipeg, MB - The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team has released forward Jiri Fronk from his AHL contract. Fronk, 22, played in one game with the Moose this season, registering two shots on goal. The Louny, Czech Republic native also played four games with the Moose's ECHL affiliate Tulsa Oilers, tallying four goals. Last season, Fronk played 33 games for Manitoba and totaled eight points (6G, 2A). He also suited up for five games for Tulsa in 2015-16, picking up two points (1G, 1A). The Moose are set to begin a five game road swing through the Pacific Division. They open the trip in San Diego against the Gulls on Friday in a 9 p.m. CT matchup.
