Binghamton Senators News Release

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators, American Hockey League affiliate of the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators, announced today that the club has recalled forward Alex Krushelnyski from the Wichita Thunder.

The 25-year-old has played in six games with the Binghamton Senators' ECHL affiliate, recording two goals and five assists. Last season with the ECHL's Utah Grizzlies, Krushelnyski racked up 60 points in 68 games and in 2014-15, the native of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan participated in the ECHL All-Star Game. Krushelnyski's recall comes the same day that forward Mike Blunden was recalled by the Ottawa Senators.

The B-Sens return home this Friday and Saturday for Military Appreciation Weekend against Providence and Springfield. Following the game on Saturday, fans can enjoy a postgame skate along with a specialty jersey auction. Binghamton will be wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit Wounded Warriors.
