Moose Sign Forward Davis Burnside

WINNIPEG - The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team signed forward Davis Burnside to an American Hockey League contract through the 2026-27 season. Burnside will join the Moose on a professional tryout for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

Burnside, 22, captained the Ohio State University Buckeyes for the second consecutive season, recording 32 points (12G, 20A) in 37 games. The La Grange, Ill. product posted 112 points (49G, 63A) in 155 career NCAA games with Ohio State. Burnside was named to the 2025 Big-10 Conference Honorable Mention All-Star Team. Prior to his collegiate career, the winger tallied 57 points (26G, 31A) in 135 USHL games split between the Tri-City Storm, Des Moines Buccaneers and Dubuque Fighting Saints.
