MacLean Recalled by Bears…Cabana Reassigned by Hershey

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals, affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and AHL's Manchester Monarchs, have announced that right wing Cail MacLean has been recalled by the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, while right wing Paul Cabana has been reassigned by the Bears. Cabana was recalled by Hershey prior to last night's contest against Johnstown.

Cail MacLean returns to Hershey after spending the last 40 games in Reading. The Royals captain has appeared in a total of 42 games with Reading and scored 15 goals and 26 points, plus recorded 28 penalty minutes. The veteran forward's nine power play goals and 133 shots leads the club. MacLean spent 12 games with the Bears from October 25 through November 18, 2004. He was held scoreless and recorded two penalty minutes.

Paul Cabana spent just one day on recall to Hershey before returning to Reading. He did not appear in a game with the Bears. Cabana was recalled by Hershey from the United Hockey League's and reassigned to Reading on January 19. In 15 games with Reading, the Calgary, Alberta native has two goals and three points with 8 penalty minutes.

Reading battles Dayton on Friday, March 4 at 7:05 p.m. and it's the first-ever 80's Mullet Night in the Sovereign Center. The first 2,000 fans receive a free mullet upon entering the building, plus a mullet judging contest will take place during the intermission. The Royals and Wheeling Nailers meet on Saturday, March 5 at 7:05 p.m. The first 2,500 fans receive an ECHL All-Star Jeff Miles action shot courtesy of Diamond Credit Union.
