M-Braves and Blue Wahoos Postponed by Rain on Sunday

PENSACOLA, FL -- Sunday night's scheduled game between the Mississippi Braves and Pensacola Blue Wahoos has been postponed by rain. Sunday's contest will be made up as part of a Monday doubleheader at Blue Wahoos Stadium beginning at 5:00 pm.

Monday's games will be seven innings in length with game two starting 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

The M-Braves are 4-6 in shortened seven-inning games this season and 71-73 all-time in seven-inning contests. Monday's twin bill will be Mississippi's sixth this season and second against the Blue Wahoos.

RHP Enderson Franco (2-5, 3.68) is scheduled to start game one for the M-Braves with RHP Kyle Wright (4-7, 4.15) going in the nightcap. Pensacola will send out RHP Vladimir Gutierrez (4-8, 5.33) in game one and RHP Keury Mella (7-3, 3.20) in game two. First pitch is set for 5:05 pm with coverage beginning at 5:00 pm on 103.9 WYAB.
