
Lynx Re-Sign Forward Nikolina Milić

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has re-signed forward Nikolina Milić to a rest of season contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Milić, a 6-3 rookie forward, was originally signed by Minnesota on May 6 to a hardship exception contract, released on June 23 and signed to a seven-day contract on June 26. Milić was re-signed to a second seven-day contract on July 3 and a third seven-day contract on July 11. The 28-year-old has appeared in 25 contests (three starts) where she averaged 5.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 11.3 minutes per game. In arguably her best game of the season on June 12, Milić registered 23 points, on 11-of-19 shooting, six rebounds and three assists in 30:24 minutes off the bench against the Indiana Fever.
The Lynx host the Connecticut Sun on Friday, July 22. Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcasted on Bally Sports North and NBA TV.
