August 20, 2007 - International League (IL1)
Ottawa Lynx News Release

Ottawa got the jump on Buffalo with an early three-run lead, highlighted by a run in the first inning and another pair in the bottom of the second.

Javon Moran led off the first with a single, moving to second on Joe Thurston's walk and then to third when Gary Burnham was hit by a pitch. Moran would scamper home for the first run of the game on wild pitch by Buffalo's Cliff Lee. In the second inning, Gookie Dawkins and Danny Sandoval reached on walks. Dawkins scored when Javon Moran reached on an error before Thurston cashed Sandoval with an RBI single. Buffalo chipped away at the Lynx lead, scoring twice in the fourth inning and eventually tying the game with another run in the seventh.

But the Lynx put the game away with two runs in the bottom of the eighth. Sandoval scored on a Joe Thurston sacrifice fly for the eventual winning run, while Javon Moran crossed the plate when Jason Jaramillo reached on an error.
