Lynx Have 25,000 Reasons To Come To Lynx Stadium

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Lynx return to Lynx Stadium tomorrow for the start of an eight-game homestand, which will feature some great activities for the whole family to enjoy. The Norfolk Tides, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, are in town starting tomorrow until Tuesday.

Saturday is Dinardo's Skis and Wheels Hit for the Cycle Night, where nine KHS mountain bikes will be given away, one per inning. If a Lynx player hits for the cycle, one lucky fan will walk away with $25,000!

Sunday is Motorcycle Awareness Day, where Motorcycles will be on display and motorcycle dealerships and related groups will set up tables on the concourse.

On the holiday Monday, the Lynx have a special 11:35 a.m. game, and before the game at 10:00 a.m. the Lynx and CJOH host their 3rd Annual Brunch at the Ballpark, with proceeds going to benefit CHEO.

The Indianapolis Indians, the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers invade Lynx Stadium for the final four games of the homestand, Thursday, May 22 – Sunday, May 25.

The Lynx play tonight in Virginia against the Richmond Braves, completing the last game of an 8-game road trip. The Lynx are currently 21-19 on the season, and sit only 1.5 games behind the Pawtucket Red Sox for second in the International League North, and 5.5 games behind the Buffalo Bisons for first.
