Lunkers' errors costly in loss

ST CLOUD - The Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers committed three errors, but all of them costly, as St. Cloud scored five unearned runs en route to a 5-0 victory. James Farris, despite taking the loss, was phenomenal for the Lunkers, going seven innings, giving up one hit and two unearned runs. He pitched five one-two-three innings in the game.
Andy Urban, who picked up the win for the River Bats, took the win, going seven innings and not giving up a run.
The River Bats, taking a two-run lead into the eighth, added three more runs in the eighth off of Tyler Sparger. All three runs came with two outs in the inning.
The Lunkers fall to (6-12) with the loss, now six games back of the Alexandria Beetles in the North Division.
Brainerd Lakes is back in action Sunday at 6:05 against the Stingers in Willmar. Charlie Henderson will get the start for the Lunkers
