Clinton, IA - Tickets are still available for Wednesday night's opening game of the 2010 Midwest League West Division Quarterfinals between the Clinton LumberKings and Cedar Rapids Kernels. The game will begin at 6:30 PM with gates opening at 5:00 PM.
Even though the game falls on a Wednesday, fans will be treated to Thirsty Thursday drink specials. Box seat tickets are $8, while adult General Admission seats are $7. Students/Seniors General Admission is $6. Tickets will only be available by calling the LumberKings at 563-242-0727 or by visiting the Alliant Energy Field ticket office.
Season-ticket holders still have until noon on Wednesday to reserve their same seats. After that, all remaining seats will be available to the public. No regular-season tickets (Bonus Books, unused tickets) will be honored for the playoffs.
Right-hander Tom Wilhelmsen (6-1, 2.23) will start for the LumberKings, while Cedar Rapids will counter with right-hander Ariel Pena (7-5, 3.76). Games two and three (if necessary) will be at Perfect Game Field in Cedar Rapids. Both games hosted by the Kernels will start at 6:35 PM.
