Lumberjacks to Battle Youngstown in First Round of Clark Cup Playoffs

MUSKEGON, Michigan (April 11th) - In collaboration with the United States Hockey League (USHL), the Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced their first round playoff schedule against the Youngstown Phantoms with the best-of-five Eastern Conference Semifinal series slated to begin on Wednesday, April 15th in Muskegon.

The fourth-seeded Lumberjacks pair up with the East's top seed in the Phantoms, who recently captured the Anderson Cup for claiming the league's best regular season record. The first round series features a 1-2-1-1 format with Muskegon hosting Games 1 and 4. The playoff schedule between the Lumberjacks and Phantoms pans out as follows (all starting times are in EST):

- Game 1 (at Muskegon) - Wednesday, April 15th at 7:15 pm

- Game 2 (at Youngstown) - Friday, April 17th at 7:05 pm

- Game 3 (at Youngstown) - Saturday, April 18th at 7:05 pm

- Game 4 (at Muskegon) - Monday, April 20th at 7:15 pm*

- Game 5 (at Youngstown) - Wednesday, April 22nd at 7:05 pm*

*Games 4 and 5 are if necessary

Doors for Games 1 and 4 open beginning at 6:15 pm. From when the doors open until the end of the first period, fans can take advantage of happy hour specials in $2 domestic drafts, popcorn, and soda. Group discounted tickets are also available for groups of ten or more along with individual tickets on sale for each home playoff game.

The Lumberjacks are celebrating their third appearance in the Clark Cup Playoffs since joining the USHL in now their fifth season. For fans that place an initial $60 deposit on their 2015-16 season ticket by the end of the business day on Tuesday, April 14th, they are eligible to receive two complimentary tickets to the first round of the playoffs while only paying $40 for the remaining two rounds.

Fans that are unable to place a $60 deposit by the April 14th date can still purchase playoff ticket packages for $60 that includes all three rounds and are eligible to receive a credit on their season ticket balance for next season on tickets for games not played throughout this year's playoffs.
