Lumberjacks shutout again
June 20, 2004 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)
Bangor Lumberjacks News Release
Kevin Forbes' huge night at the plate came at the expense of the Bangor Lumberjacks and their pitching staff. Not only did Forbes finish the night a single shy of the cycle, he also hit a grand slam in the ninth inning and drove in seven runs on the night, as the Cutters routed Bangor 14-0. The Cutters only had ten hits on the night, but they took advantage of seven walks issued by 'Jacks pitchers. Ryan Bonesio pitched six and a third scoreless, allowing only four hits, to pick up the win for New Haven County. Don Ross had two doubles for Bangor.
