(GUELPH) The Guelph Storm announced today that forward Luke Pither is the Grand & Toy Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 30th. 

Luke scored three goals in three games this past weekend helping his team pick up three of a possible six points. With a 3-2 overtime loss to the Belleville Bulls on Friday, a 5-2 loss to the Sudbury Wolves on Saturday and a 5-2 win over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Sunday night, the Burketon native scored the Storm's first goal of the game in every contest.

Ranked fifth on the Storm in scoring, Pither is just one goal behind teammate Peter Holland for the team lead in goals with 12. Along with those 12 goals, the 19 year old has nine assists for 21 points in 28 games so far this season. With one powerplay goal this past weekend the Storm forward leads his team in goals scored with the man advantage with six.

Next up, Pither and the rest of the Storm head to Windsor on Thursday night to face off against the league best Spitfires. Friday and Sunday the Storm are home to host the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors and the Kitchener Rangers respectively.
