The Owen Sound Attack named veteran Marcus Carroll the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Monday, December 1, 2008.
It was supposed to be a tough weekend for Carroll and the Attack, playing against two of the leagues premiere teams but that didn't seem to phase the young Attack team as they took four points in two nights.
The fourth year forward broke out of a slump in a big way Friday night in London by notching 2 goals and 1 assist in a 6-3 win over the rival Knights en route to being named the games 1st star.
Saturday was another test for the Attack as they took on the Eastern Conference front running, Belleville Bulls. Marcus Carroll scored 34 seconds into the game and the Attack never looked back, beating the Bulls by a score of 5-3.
Carroll finished the weekend with 3 goals, 1 assist and a +3 rating.
The Attack is back in action at home on Wednesday night when Zellers presents the Attack against the Barrie Colts, game time is 7:00pm.
