
Luke Hudson to Make Start for the Wranglers

WICHITA, Kan. (April 19, 2007) - Kansas City Royals pitcher Luke Hudson has been sent to the Wranglers on a Major League Rehab Assignment. Hudson will start Friday night's game in Wichita against the Arkansas Travelers and will be piggybacked by scheduled starter, LHP Danny Christensen.
In 2006, Hudson started 15 games and had a total of 26 appearances for the Royals going 7-6 with a 5.12 ERA. He pitched 102 innings giving up 38 walks while striking out 64. Hudson has been on the Disabled List since April 1 with an inflamed right shoulder.
The Wranglers will be back in Wichita tonight against the Arkansas Travelers for Wranglers Opening Weekend: Take Two.
