Columbus Crew SC News Release
COLUMBUS - As the Columbus Crew start the 2024 MLS season at Lower.com Field on Saturday at 2 p.m. against Atlanta United FC, the Crew will debut a variety of enhancements focused on their mission to deliver exceptional experiences for supporters on matchday and throughout the year.
Fans will enjoy the new amenities during Saturday's season opener, when the Crew will unveil the championship year on the south stadium façade commemorating their 2023 MLS Cup, the third in franchise history, while players, coaches and leadership will receive their championship rings during the pre-match celebration. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they can share in the full pre-match festivities.
Supporters attending Crew home games this season will enjoy new hospitality offerings, seating options, and concessions that elevate the already incredible atmosphere at Lower.com Field.
Service and Amenities
Vivid Seats Experience Terrace: This spacious, semi-private space is located on top of the suite level, featuring beautiful views of Lower.com Field. Ticket holders will have access to an all-inclusive hospitality space featuring food and beverage options, including a full bar. It can host a group ranging from 20 to 200 people.
Party Suite: The private, climate-controlled indoor space was added on the press level at midfield. It features one of the best views of Lower.com Field at center pitch and is the only dedicated private space available on a game-by-game basis. Capable of hosting a group of up to 49 people, the hospitality space includes all-inclusive food and beverage, along with customizable upgrade options.
The Cenovus Energy Zone: Ticket holders can enjoy the action from spacious, private bay-style seating areas located atop Nordecke, the Crew's most passionate supporters. Supporters have a unique bird's-eye view of the pitch and stadium, including access to all-inclusive hospitality with food and beverage options. This space can host groups ranging from 25 - 150 people.
Cooper Elliott Theatre Box: Located atop the lower bowl in Sections 101 and 102, the private box features luxury seats with a TV per every two seats. Tickets include all-inclusive food and beverage with in-seat ordering and delivery. In addition to this luxury in-match experience, supporters also have access to the Tipico Club and complimentary VIP parking.
Southeast Field Club: The Crew created a new premium lounge this offseason, which previously supported back-of-house operations. The modern club features a unique entrance onto the field through the southeast tunnel and has seats that are mere inches away from the action on the pitch. The lounge is equipped with big-screen TVs and all-inclusive food and beverage options. Fans will have access to additional accommodations, including a dedicated premium VIP entrance in the West Lobby, and access to the club up to 60 minutes after every Crew match.
Food and Beverage
Condado Tacos: The Columbus-based taco joint officially opens its 50th location at Lower.com Field on Saturday. Condado Tacos will bring its unique culture and craveable tacos to the stadium experience with a special menu featuring a curated selection of margs, beers, and signature menu items. The restaurant replaces The Pub at the stadium's southeast entrance. Condado Tacos will open one hour before gate times at Lower.com Field (i.e., 5 p.m. for 7:30 p.m. kickoffs).
MEDIA ASSETS: Images of new food options are available for media use here (please provide courtesy to Columbus Crew).
Concessions: The Crew are offering several new items at various concession stands this season, including a Korean BBQ puffle, BBQ platter, smashburger, cheesesteak, and chicken quesadilla, foot-long chili dog, and rib bites with rice. New options will also be available in premium spaces, including a bruschetta board in suites and a brisket egg roll in club spaces. Additionally, the Club will create unique selections associated with the city, time of year or match theme, including the Mistletoe Margarita during Crewsmas.
Crew single-match tickets can be purchased at columbuscrew.com/tickets.
In December, the Crew launched Black & Gold Next, a comprehensive membership program for supporters who wish to acquire season tickets in future years. Members of the waitlist will have priority access to season tickets beginning in 2025 while enjoying benefits offered to current season tickets members, including access to pre-sales for 2024 Crew single-match tickets and major events at Lower.com Field, Historic Crew Stadium and Cleveland Browns Stadium; and an MLS Season Pass subscription to stream all Crew and MLS matches throughout the season.
