LA Galaxy News Release
LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy announced today the club has mutually agreed to part ways with goalkeeper Jonathan Bond.
"We would like to thank Jonathan for his commitment and contribution to the Galaxy during his time here in Los Angeles," said LA Galaxy General Manager Will Kuntz. "We wish Bondy and his family all the best in their next chapter."
Bond appeared in 93 matches (93 starts) across all competitions for the LA Galaxy in three seasons played for the club (2021-23). Bond, the LA Galaxy's Defender of the Year in 2022, ranks second in club history in regular-season appearances by a goalkeeper (90) behind only Kevin Hartman (243).
"It's been an honor and a privilege to represent this great club for three years," said Bond. "Thank you to my teammates, my coaches and of course the fans for welcoming me in as one of your own. Special thanks to Greg and Will for this incredible opportunity and I wish everyone at the club a successful season."
