CONEY ISLAND - After falling in game one, the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Short Season Class A affiliate of the New York Mets, conceded a seventh-inning lead in Game two, suffering a doubleheader sweep to the league-leading Lowell Spinners Tuesday evening at MCU Park.

Game One - Lowell 6, Brooklyn 2

BIG MOMENTS

- Lowell erased an early 1-0 deficit in the third, scoring five runs against Frank Valentino. Marino Campana's two-run single capped the rally to make it 5-1.

- Jaxx Groshans homered against Nelson Leon to lead off the seventh, extending the Lowell lead to 6-2.

- Wilmer Reyes scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the first inning, giving the Cyclones a 1-0 lead against starter Ryan Zeferjahn.

BIG MOMENTS

- Lowell took the lead in the top of the seventh to steal the victory. Kervin Suarez scored on two errors to tie the game, and Alex Erro's sac fly delivered the lead.

- Brooklyn crossed three runs in the fourth, scoring on a hit batsman, walk, and RBI fielder's choice by Yoel Romero.

- Back-to-back doubles from Alex Erro and Jordan Cannon gave the Spinners a 1-0 lead to begin the game.

- Brooklyn infielder Yoel Romero snapped his 15-game hitting streak, falling three games shy of breaking Lucas Duda's franchise-record 17-game hitting streak in 2007.

- Mitch Ragan, who started game two for the Cyclones, has allowed one run or fewer in eight of his nine outings for a 1.99 ERA.

- Brooklyn snapped a five-game winning streak with a pair of losses.
