Niles, O.H. - Tuesday in Ohio was a blast for the IronBirds, eight of which had hits with Kyle Stowers and Joey Ortiz having their first pro homers.

BIG MOMENTS
Top of the 2nd: Already down 1-0, Kyle Stowers tied the game. It was his first homer as a professional after hitting nine at Stanford this year.
Top of the 3rd: Adley Rutschman doubled, Toby Welk singled and then Andrew Daschbach doubled. Aberdeen put up two runs in the frame and made it 3-1.
Top of the 5th: Joey Ortiz had a solo shot, his first as a professional.
Mahoning Valley scored two of their three runs on solo homers from Jonathan Rodriguez.
