"I thought in the first half we played a little bit tentative. We were almost waiting -- feeling a little bit sorry for ourselves. I thought we could have passed quicker -- could have played quicker. In the second half, we were excellent. I think we completely dominated the second half."

"George Davis gave a nice little talk before the game about what it means to all of us and what it means to himself. It's his birthday today, so it's nice he got a present. But more importantly, he's happy he helped the team on top of the individual stuff. I'm glad we got the win. George can celebrate in style now."

"It just came out of the blue, I guess, with the two games we lost. It was refreshing to hear a different perspective other than (coaches) James (O'Connor) or Dan (Byrd) or the other lads on the team. Personally, he got me pretty pumped. It was a speech that got everyone fired up."
