
Los Angeles Acquires Longar Longar

EL SEGUNDO, CA - The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired center Longar Longar and waived forward Anthony Coleman due to injury, it was announced today. The active roster now stands at 10.
Longar, a 6-11 center out of Oklahoma, led the Sooners with 33 blocks and was the team's second-leading scorer (11.4 ppg), rebounder (5.6 rpg) and field goal shooter (.488) last season. Longar played in three NBA Summer League games with the Minnesota Timberwolves where he averaged 3.0 points, 1.0 rebound and 0.3 blocks in 9.0 minutes.
Coleman, the 6-11 product out of Long Beach State, played in nine games (nine starts) for Los Angeles where he averaged 7.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 blocks in 31.4 minutes.
