April 12, 2014 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Great Lakes Loons News Release
MIDLAND, Mich. - Due to current field conditions and the impending weather forecast, Saturday night's game at Dow Diamond has been cancelled. The game was scheduled to be the second in a three-game series between the Great Lakes Loons (4-4) and the Quad Cities River Bandits.
The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader tomorrow. The first game will be played at 12:05 p.m., with gates open at 11:30 a.m. Game two of the doubleheader will be the official make-up game, with both games scheduled for seven innings.
Fans that purchased tickets for Saturday's rainout may exchange them at the Dow Diamond box office for tickets to any remaining Loons regular season home game, based on availability.
Luis Chirinos, who was scheduled to start on Saturday, will start tomorrow's first game for the Loons while Greg Harris will start the second game. Both pitchers are 1-0 on the season.
The Great Lakes Loons are an eighth-year Single-A partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers. For tickets and more information about the Loons, visit Loons.com or call 989-837-BALL.
