
River Bandits-Loons Postponed Saturday

MIDLAND, Mich. ( April 12, 2014 ) - Saturday night's game between the Quad Cities River Bandits and Great Lakes Loons at Dow Diamond has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up in a doubleheader at 11:05 a.m. Central Sunday.
Quad Cities (4-4) and Great Lakes (4-4) are scheduled to play a pair of seven-inning games Sunday. It will be the second doubleheader of the season for the River Bandits, who split a twin bill with Kane County April 5 at Modern Woodmen Park. Great Lakes will play its first doubleheader of the season Sunday.
The pitching matcup for Game 1 is scheduled to put Quad Cities right-hander Andrew Thurman (0-1) against Great Lakes right-hander Luis Chirinos (1-0). In Game 2, River Bandits left-hander Chris Lee (0-0) is scheduled to face Loons right-hander Greg Harris (1-0).
