The Chattanooga Lookouts finished off the Jacksonville Suns by a score of 2-1 in the completion of Friday night's suspended game. Garret Gould took the mound when the game resumed and picked up the win. Pitcher Ross Stripling entered the game in the 8th and earned a 2-inning save.

In game 2 of the double-header the Lookouts and Suns were tied 0-0 in the bottom of the 4th inning when a heavy rain shower forced the suspension of play. The game will be resumed tomorrow, July 8th, at 5:15 PM followed by the regularly scheduled game, which will be shortened to 7-innings.
