
Longest Homestand Continues

Original Six: The Tulsa Oilers continue a six game homestand this week, with three home games featuring the three other teams that joined the CHL with the Oilers when it reformed in 1992. The Oilers host the Oklahoma City Blazers Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.; Mississippi RiverKings Friday at 7:35 p.m.; and Wichita Thunder Saturday at 7:35 p.m.
Good Start: The Oilers started a four game week last week on a good note on Tuesday with a 5-4 overtime win over Colorado. The Oilers overcame 3-0 and 4-1 deficits in the game. Tulsa couldn't sustain momentum however, and lost the next night 5-2 at Wichita. The Oilers lost 4-2 to Rocky Mountain on Friday and 3-2 to New Mexico on Saturday.
Steady Sean: Sean Collins has a four game point scoring streak, after registering two goals and two assists last week. He has 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points on the season.
Near The Top: In spite of missing one game last week, Jeff Christian remains near the top of the CHL scoring race. His 26 goals and 42 points for 68 points have him tied for third place in the league scoring totals.
Rocking Rob: Defenseman Rob Dmytruk had his biggest offensive output of the season against Colorado. He scored two goals, including the overtime goal and had one assist. The victory over Colorado, gave the Oilers the season series, 3-1.
Nice Return: Right winger Kai Magnussen returned to the Oilers as a free agent and scored in Saturday's game. He now has eight goals and 11 assists on the season.
