London Knights News Release
LONDON, ONTARIO: The London Knights Hockey Club will be turning the "House of Green" into the "House with Heart" presented by The Brick at the John Labatt Centre next Friday February 25th, 2011 as the London Knights take on the visiting Owen Sound Attack. The London Knights ask all fans attending the game to dress in RED and show your support for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Immediately following the game the commemorative RED game worn jerseys will go live for auction on www.londonknights.com. All proceeds raised will go to support the local Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Leading up to the House with Heart, the London Knights will be hosting a skating party on Family Day this Monday February 21st, 2011. For a minimum donation of $2.00 per person, fans can skate with the entire London Knights team following the game against the Windsor Spitfires. The skate will begin half an hour following the game has finished and fans are asked to enter through Gate #4 (off of Dundas Street). All proceeds raised from the event will go to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
In addition to the game day activities, the London Knights are encouraging those within the community to make a donation of any size to the Heart and Stroke Foundation through the London Knights website: www.londonknights.com. By clicking on the donation link located on the splash page, donations can be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation through the London Knights House with Heart initiative.
