
Logan Recalled to Chicago

FORT MILL, S.C. - April 17, 2007 - Charlotte Knights pitcher Boone Logan was recalled to Chicago today. The White Sox placed outfielder Scott Podsednik on the 15-day disabled list to make room.
Logan, 22, is 0-1 with a 2.16 ERA (2 ER/8.1 IP) and 11 strikeouts in four relief appearances with Charlotte. He has allowed eight hits and four walks. The 6-foot-5, 200-pounder was unscored upon in nine spring training outings, allowing just four hits with 10 strikeouts in 11.0 IP. He pitched in 21 games with the White Sox in 2006, going 0-0 with an 8.31 ERA (16 ER/17.1 IP.
The Knights are currently in Ottawa and return home this Saturday to begin a seven-game homestand against Columbus. Game time is 7:15 p.m.
